Punta Cana ranks among JetBlue Airways’ busiest international routes in 2025, highlighting the Dominican Republic’s growing importance within the airline’s network, according to a report from AviationA2Z.

With 238 monthly flights and over 42,500 available seats between New York (JFK) and Punta Cana (PUJ), the destination has become a major hub for Caribbean air travel. The trend is echoed on other Dominican routes, such as JFK–Santiago de los Caballeros (372 monthly flights, ~65,000 seats) and JFK–Santo Domingo (310 flights, over 52,000 seats), driven by tourism and strong ties with the Dominican diaspora.

JetBlue also maintains robust service between Santo Domingo and Boston (125 flights monthly), as well as a high-frequency route to San Juan, Puerto Rico. This activity reflects the Dominican Republic’s dual appeal as a leading tourist destination and a vital link for family and community travel.
