Santo Domingo.- The Ministry of Tourism (MITUR), led by Minister David Collado, has announced its participation in the second edition of the “Tourism and Attractions 2025” (TyA 2025) fair, set to take place from March 7 to 9 at the Villas del Mar hotel in Pedernales. Under the slogan “For the love of development and investment!”, the event aims to boost tourism and attract investment to the region.
India will be the guest country of honor, represented by its Ambassador to the Dominican Republic, Ramu Abbagani. Other distinguished attendees include the Ambassadors of China and Türkiye, Chen Luning and Emriye Bağdagül Ormancı, respectively. The fair, organized by Tourism and Attractions and Grupo Mecca, will feature conferences, business meetings, product showcases, and investment opportunities.
Visitors will also enjoy local attractions, including Bahía de las Águilas tours, nature adventures, gastronomic tourism, river exploration, buggy rides, and regattas. TyA 2025 will include artistic performances and surprises, offering a dynamic space for investors and entrepreneurs in the tourism sector to explore Pedernales’ growth potential.
